“Tako used their exceptional knowledge + experience with Shopify/ReCharge to provide a solution to our challenge, and worked with other app developers to find + resolve issues. Felt like a partner, not like they were in it for the quick hit. Excited to grow our partnership!”

We believe strongly that a ReCharge customer portal becomes 100x more effective when customized to match a merchant's brand identity. (We believe that so strongly, in fact, that we wrote 1,400 words about the why and how of portal customization on our blog, the Tako Stand: https://bit.ly/3b2xetO.) This is the main dashboard of the portal we built from scratch, which is specifically designed to be easily transformed to blend seamlessly with any brand.

We got Bars Over Bottles hooked up with ReCharge so they could start offering their eco-friendly shampoo and conditioner bars on a recurring basis. To facilitate the two purchase options (and take their consumer education opportunities to the next level) we designed a brand new product page that offers customers both purchase methods, and as much information as they want to consume.

Streetwear apparel brand Official Brand was ready to get in on the recurring billing game with our favorite thing: memberships! We whipped up a landing page and laid out the options simply. We leveraged Shopify Scripts to create a custom discount code for the free bag (using Klaviyo as the delivery method) that encourages a post-purchase bounceback. ReCharge powers the billing, and Stamped.io handles the "store credit" function.

When LitJoy arrived in Takoland they were facing a bit of a problem. Their customer account experience was split between the Shopify customer account and the ReCharge customer portal. The branding was not cohesive, not to mention the fragmentation. To fix it, we decided to bring everything into one gorgeously designed customer portal, based in Shopify, that includes all the necessary ReCharge pieces using their API. Now customers (subscription or not) can see and manage everything in one place.

For Postfly we built a very dynamic purchase widget for their product page, handling several different components at once: purchase type (subscription or OTP) species variant (one of four) subscription type (monthly or prepaid [3 different options]) gift (yes/no) + message It was a lot of work to get all the pieces playing nicely together, but we did it! She handles as beautifully on mobile as she does on desktop.
